Our mission at Active Minds UTD is to foster an open, supportive community that empowers students to prioritize their mental health and well-being.

We aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health through connection, education, and advocacy—creating a campus culture where seeking help is normalized, and every voice is heard.

Tuesday & Wednesday: April 21-22, 2026

Hosted two consecutive fundraising tabling events, selling over 200 baked goods while raising awareness about stress management and mental health resources. These events created accessible entry points for conversation and engagement during a high-stress period.

Friday: April 24, 2026

Partnered with ShareTea Richardson to provide a structured, low-pressure study environment with discounted beverages. This initiative supported academic success while promoting balanced, health study habits during finals.

Thursday: April 23, 2026

Hosted a large-scale creative wellness event featuring tie-dye activities, free merchandise, and refreshments. With support from the Active Minds national team, the event encourages self-expression, stress relief, and community connection.
